Hey Dick,

I'm just getting back into it a bit - looks to me like Winlink might be a practical solution - unless you just want to play with the technology.  Uses one of the digital modes to tie into landside networks - reasonably transparent.  Very low cost (free) if you have any kind of a rig, recent laptop and some audio isolation of some kind.  Also some slick SW for "Headquarters" networking - entire office can email via a single RF link.

Gud luck - advise if you need/want assistance!

I am presently working on an updated rosters.. Will try to have published soon. They do need updating for sure.

The Hardsnewsletter is still around i just ahve not had time to put one together.. As soon as I can I will be spitting out another edition..

I have ports on all our active Skipnets but one the one out West Net 7.101 LSB The Net Manager is Matt N6MAT Newbury Park CA,

I also do Winmor and Pactor BBS forwarding on many of the HF bands.. Capable from 80 thru 10 meters.

All stations are welcome to join... In fact we coudl use many more in Indiana and Nationally as well. With the upper bands starting to come alive we could use net managers for nets on 18 17 15 and 10 Meters...

Many thanks Jerry N9LYA
Skipnet Coordinator..

I'm thinking about standing up a BBS and would like to use HF to link into a neighboring state and to other states.

Are these the frequencies?
14.098 LSB
10.147 LSB
7.1005 LSB

Who do I need to talk to about getting access to one or more of these nets?  Is there a listing of who is still on these nets?

73,
